Today we’d like to introduce you to Tony Trieu.
Tony, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
In 2002, Tony Trieu filled a void in the salon industry by starting a high-end salon brand that they believed would ultimately dominate the salon and spa market. The name for such a concept, similar to other well known brands, would be extremely important in creating market presence and it was Mia Le who suggested Venetian Nail Spa. The market, prior to Venetian Nail Spa, was dominated by small scale salons that were mostly individually owned. These salons were good at what they did, but was not able to cater to the higher end clientele that wants more than just getting their nails painted. They were lacking in customer service, ambiance, and could not deliver a satisfactory experience to the mid to higher end clientele. Upon recognizing the smaller salon’s shortcomings, Tony decided to build a brand centered around the idea of high quality services, relaxing ambiance, and great customer service at a median price. It was Tony’s mission to provide a luxurious and relaxing environment, with the highest standards and business ethics, to Venetian’s clientele.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Tony has invested vast efforts of time and energy into his personal goals and dreams of becoming a successful salon owner, and does not view anything as a sacrifices but rather a trade off for his accomplishments. Tony still has much more growth planned in order to come to his terms of success.
Success is achieved when an individual goal is met and exceeded. Whether the goal is small or large, the accomplishment of the goal is what defines success. Tony’s success will be measured by his legacy and the lasting impact his company has on the market. Tony believes he has a long way to go before he can call himself successful and will continue to strive to pursue his goals and aspirations.

For Tony, the major prize of being an entrepreneur is, he is never held back from pursuing his own thoughts and ideas and making them a reality. When you own a company, your capabilities are limitless within your means, you are free to explore and experiment with new ideas while learning and meeting your goals.
